Laura Ashley is a fashion brand which began around the year 1953 from extremely modest beginnings, to be exact a husband and wife, screen printing small squares of fabric with geometric patterns so as to create a patchwork quilt. It was around this time that Audrey Hepburn starred in the film Roman Holiday and her various headscarves during the film sparked a fashion craze in the young girls at that time.

Laura and her husband Bernard saw an opportunity in the fashion market and began making and selling headscarves featuring various patterns and Victorian-inspired designs which became extremely successful in stores. Laura Ashley is now a household name and one of the most well known fashion brands in the UK, and across the globe with stores worldwide.

The brand now contains both Home Furnishings and a complete fashion line which, in its range, features garments such as; Dresses, Blouses, Footwear, Jackets, Jewellery, Knitwear, Skirts, Swimwear, Tops and Trousers. The clothing featured offers beautiful colours, lines and shapes, with gorgeous patterned fabrics being a key part of the range; the clothing is simply beautiful and is extremely affordable in comparison to a lot of other long-running well known fashion brands around today.
